What an authentic private account actually is
Family sharing lets one Steam library be lent to other accounts. An account that only has access through sharing does not own anything, revoke the share and the games disappear. It is also the first thing an anti-cheat looks at when deciding how much a profile has to lose.
A private standalone account owns its licences outright. The purchase sits on the profile itself, with its own transaction history and its own standing. That is the whole distinction, and it is the only thing the NFA label is claiming.
